Local congregation volunteers focus on encouragement and spiritual support. They may share weekly devotionals or uplifting messages as requested, and offer friendly phone/SMS check‑ins and prayers. In the unfortunate event of hospitalizations, volunteers provide in‑person comfort (where available). Volunteers are not expected to provide daily personal care, transportation or errands —that remains the role of family/caregivers or paid Personal Care Companions.
Yes, MoyaCare adheres to the highest security standards to protect all parties involved in your loved one's care. This is also supported by role‑based access, ensuring even within your care team, you have complete control over the flow of information.
Spiritual engagement not required and tailored to your preferences if desired. For SanctuaryPass members, partner congregations add an optional community layer: weekly devotionals and prayers, optional clergy check-ins, and warm invitations to congregation activities. However, if preferred, you can indicate to your volunteers that you desire only agnostic support, removing religious or faith related content from notes of encouragement.
